Our Story

One of our co-founders was an investment banking professional come financial adviser. He spent years helping working professionals with their finances and was shocked by the dismal state of the finances of a good number of intelligent, hard-working clients he met.  Through no fault of their own, they did not grasp the fundamental concepts of how money works. Consequently, over the prior years, these clients had picked up products they did not understand, and that did not appear to support their core objectives.

Our co-founders, Frank and Gabriella (CEO), noticed that there was a dwindling number of independent financial advisers (IFAs) which may have been an unintended consequence of the introduction of new rules for IFAs. Sadly, this meant that the much-needed advice would not always be easily available for those not so well off; hence Savvney was created.

In setting up Savvney, the core belief rested in the idea that financial success should be a reality for every person in the UK and not just reserved for a privileged few.  Accordingly, Savvney’s mission is to deliver straight-talking, aspirational financial education with the goal of giving people back control of their finances and gain the confidence to navigate their journey to financial success, whatever that might look like for them.
